Abstract 概要
本WSでは、COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning)をはじめとしたオンラインの教育実践をどのように既存の活動へ融合させ、ポストコロナ期の国際交流教育モデルを構築するべきかを共に考察する。それぞれの機関の学生ニーズ、もたらしたい成果、大学等の機関の特色が異なるため、それぞれに適した取組のアイデア・設計は多様なものが出てくるはずである。それぞれの案を共有することで、さらに新しい工夫や取組案が生まれてくることも期待できる。WSではまずCOIL, Virtual Exchange, Virtual Mobilityといった実践モデルを解説し、国内外の事例を共有する。
また、国内の教育のDXが進む中、オンライン型の教育実践のアフォーダンスも刻一刻と変化を遂げている点についても本ＷＳでは取り扱う。2020-2021年度に推進されるデジタルを活用した大学・高専教育高度化プラン(通称DX-Plus)も後押しし、各キャンパスのデジタルトランスフォメーションも近年は進み、新しい国際教育の形を探究する上では追い風となっている。WS時点までの流れを把握すると共に、各参加者の所属機関における事例なども共有を図る機会をもうけたい。
In this workshop, we will discuss how to incorporate COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) and other online education practices into existing activities and how to build an international exchange education model for the postcolonial era. Discussion will be held. Since the needs of students, the outcomes they seek, and the characteristics of universities and other educational institutions are different, there will be a variety of ideas and designs for initiatives that are appropriate for each.
In the WS, practical models such as COIL, Virtual Exchange, and Virtual Mobility will be explained first, and examples from Japan and abroad will be presented. Specifically, we will describe the progress of COIL-type education projects, which we believe will play an important role in refining online international education in the post-COVID phase. We would like to introduce as many examples of these practices as possible, including IIGE, the U.S., and ASEAN countries.
We would also like to have an opportunity to understand the current situation up to the time of the WS and to share examples from each participant's own institution.
